There are several Animation Principles that all tie together, Unreal Engine is capable of

    animating a Mesh without the use of a 3rd party program (Control Rig)
  1. It is also capable of using animations from other programs and importing them (Import functionality with the content browser)
  2. Creating complex rules for animation transitions (Walking to running)
